Aaron Carter died last weekend aged 34 continues to lead to an outpouring of grief from friends, family and fans of the late performer.

After posting a tribute to his younger brother on Instagram, Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter broke down in tears during the band’s performance at the O2 Arena in London, according to numerous videos posted on social media.

“Tonight our hearts are heavy because we lost a member of our family yesterday. And we just wanted to find a moment in our show to recognize him,” Backstreet Boy member Kevin Richardson said. “Nick’s younger brother, Aaron Carter, passed away yesterday at [34] there are years. He is part of our family. Thank you guys for all the love and all your good wishes and all your support.”

The group hugged the elder Carter in support.

Aaron Carter’s ex-fiancée and mother of his young son, Prince, has uploaded a TikTok video about himself mourns the news of his death. She also shared a video of Carter dancing for his audience on social media with the caption “Forever publish.”

Rapper The game was posted on his verified Instagram account that he was touched by Nick Carter’s post about his brother and decided to share the story he had about Aaron Carter.

According to the artist, a few years ago he was traveling with his then young son and his son’s mother when they realized that they were missing one seat in first class, which was overbooked.

The Game recalled Carter saying, “Hey, you got a little man.. you can have my spot, Game.”

“At the time, my first album had dropped and I still wasn’t sure everyone knew who I was, so every new ‘Game’ that got called out was fresh and made me feel like I’d accomplished something great,” wrote The Games.

Carter went to sit in the coach section of the plane and The Game decided to join him, he wrote, where the pair would talk for the next six hours of the flight.

“I remember thinking how great it was to talk to a guy I’d seen on MTV a million times and who my little sister loved to death because I was a star again so this was super dope,” The Game wrote. “We got to know each other very well during that summer, exchanged assistant numbers and always hugged each other when we saw each other over the years.”

He also had a message for Nick Carter and family.

“M’s love and condolences are with you, your family and his boy through this difficult time and beyond,” The Game wrote to the Backstreet Boy member. “Hit me whenever, FOREVER.”

Aaron Carter’s cause of death is pending further investigation, according to the LA County Coroner.
