Chicago Police Chief David Brown said dash cam video showed at least one car and that they believed two shooters opened fire on the crowd standing at the intersection for a vigil.

The police said that the attack lasted only 3 seconds and that the shooters fired randomly into the crowd. Brown said no suspects have been arrested and a motive for the attack is unclear.

Police said so far that no deaths have been reported as a result of the shooting. The police only said that the victims were in “different conditions”.

A passer-by said FOX 32 Chicago that he started to help the injured, but there were not enough ambulances to accommodate the injured child.

“We picked up another girl, a girl of around 13 years old, and brought her to that clinic,” the eyewitness said. “But the ambulance driver said, ‘No, we can’t bring her because you have worse people.’ So we just sat her on the bumper.”
