Kanye West was escorted out of the Skechers office after showing up unannounced | Kanye West

Skechers executives escorted Kanye West out of the company’s corporate offices at Angelsafter the rapper and fashion designer turned up “unannounced and uninvited” on Wednesday.

U statement released after the incident, the footwear brand said it had “no intention of collaborating with West” and that the artist, now known as Ye, was involved in an “unauthorized recording”.

“He and his party” were removed from the building after a “brief conversation”, the company added.

Skechers’ comments are coming the day after Adidas ended its long-standing collaboration with Ye, following a series of anti-Semitic comments Ye made in recent weeks.

“We condemn his recent divisive statements and do not tolerate anti-Semitism or any other form of hate speech,” Skechers said.

Ye spreads anti-Semitic conspiracy theories in interviews and on social media. And earlier this month, he sparked outrage by unveiling T-shirts at Paris Fashion Week emblazoned with the slogan “White Lives Matter,” a phrase associated with white supremacists.

Ye has become increasingly isolated as more brands move away from him.

Gap, which severed its relationship with Ye in September, is now taking immediate steps to remove Yeezy Gap products from its stores and shut down YeezyGap.com. Balenciaga also cut ties with him, and his end lucrative Adidas business means Ye is reportedly no longer a billionaire. His long-standing talent agency CAA is said to no longer represent him.

And political leaders in California he joined the chorus of those condemning Ye’s behavior this week, after recent anti-Semitic incidents in Los Angeles — some of which specifically referenced Ye’s comments about Jews — had residents on edge.
