Titans vs. Bills – Match Report – September 19, 2022

ORCHARD PARK, AP — Josh Allen threw four touchdown passes, including three to Stefon Diggs, as the Buffalo Bills knocked out Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans 41-7 in their home opener Monday.

The Bills followed up their 31-10 victory in Week 1 against the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams by limiting their nemesis of the past two seasons. Fullback Reggie Gilliam and linebacker Matt Milano, with a 43-yard interception return, also scored for Buffalo.

Allen passed 300 yards through the air for the 15th time in his career and completed 26 of 38 passes for 317 yards, but did not play in the fourth quarter. Diggs had 12 catches for 148 yards. He passed 100 yards in his first two games, a feat previously achieved with the Bills by Hall of Famer Andre Reed.

The Bills have topped 30 points twice after doing so nine times last season. And his defense limited Tennessee to 182 yards on his first 12 downs, recording two sacks and forcing four turnovers.

The Titans lost the season opener 21-20 to the New York Giants and start the campaign 0-2 for the first time since 2012.
