During the first match of the afternoon, Nadal formed a pair of doubles with Swiatek in a match where they played against McEnroe and Gauff.

The good atmosphere, the usual jokes and jokes in this type of event were the protagonists of a game in which there was no lack of anger – feigned – at one point from McEnroe remembering those great fights with the referees which were recurring in his years as a professional.

For its part, Alcaraz partnered with American Frances Tiafoe in his duel against fellow Americans Tommy Paul and Taylor Fritz.

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) and the US Open, which kicks off next week, joined forces at this charity event which took place at Louis Armstrong Stadium in New York coinciding with the celebration of Ukraine Independence Day.

The organizers noted that the money will be used to support the communities most affected by the war and areas where refugees have gathered.
