The Serbian, who missed the US Open by not being able to enter the United States for refusing the coronavirus vaccine, return to the circuit in Israeli lands from September 26 to October 2.

And then be part of the European Laver Cup team that will compete to defend a title they have won in the previous four editions.
The Tel Aviv tournament was played from 1978 to 1981 and from 1983 to 1996. Israeli tennis player Amos Mansdorf has reached the final five times, winning in 1987 and becoming the only Israeli to win the event. Jimmy Connors won the last singles title of his career at the tournament in 1989. The event still holds the ATP record for the youngest winner of an ATP tournament (Aaron Krickstein in 1983, aged 16 and 2 month).
